Tyler Bruening opens up 2026 with DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park

Kicking off the 2026 season with his new teammate Dallon Murty, Tyler Bruening checked in his No. 16 Skyline Motorsports ride at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) for the six-day DIRTcar Nationals among 56 entries.

Bruening finished eighth in the $7,000-to-win opener and in his split feature on Wednesday as well. He finished 18th on Tuesday night.

With the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioning the remainder of the event, Tyler made all three feature events finishing 24th, 29th, and 27th.
