Bruening rallies for Top-10 finish with Lucas Dirt at 34 Raceway
Joining the national touring stars for one night only, Tyler Bruening was one of 27 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win show.
Bruening set quicktime among the 27 Super Late Models that took times, but suffered a flat tire while leading the field. Tyler started way back in 22nd for the 50-lap feature and drove forward to an eighth-place finish.
Tyler also competed in the Lucas Dirt stop at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) on Tuesday and finished 18th in the Kosiski Family 53.
