Tyler Bruening fourth in High Bank Heist finale at Eagle Raceway with Lucas Dirt

Rolling into his home state of Iowa on Tuesday, Tyler Bruening was one of 31 FloRacing Night in America entries at Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway for the $20,000-to-win show.

Laying down the fourth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Bruening ran runner-up in his heat race and finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth in the 50-lap main event.

Turning his focus to the three-day Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend, Tyler joined a 37-car field at Eagle (Neb.) Raceway for the High Bank Heist.

After a disappointing 21st-place run in the opener, Bruening picked up the pace on Friday and moved from ninth-to-sixth in the $10,000-to-win feature. With the big $50,000 payday up for grabs on Saturday, Tyler raced his way into the 75-lapper and finished just off the podium in fourth. He trailed Ricky Thornton Jr., Jonathan Davenport, and Devin Moran while Brandon Overton completed the Top-5.
