Seventh-place finish in Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway

Choosing to follow the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the weekend, Tyler Bruening checked into Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Friday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win Buckeye Spring 50.

Finishing third in his heat race, Bruening started 10th in the 50-lap main event and faded to finish outside the Top-15 in 18th.

Hoping to keep more speed at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday night, Tyler started 13th in the $25,000-to-win feature and charged to a seventh-place outing.

Tyler currently sits 10th in the LOLMDS point standings.
