Eighth-place outing in first night with Lucas Dirt at Ocala Speedway
Skipping the first two nights of competition, Tyler Bruening checked into Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition for the first points night of the week for the Wieland Winter Nationals at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway.
Among a stout 45-car field, Bruening finished fifth in his heat race before he earnd his spot in the main event with a runner-up spot in his B-Main. Starting 18th in the $10,000-to-win feature, Tyler stormed forward ten positions to land inside the Top-10 in eighth.
The following evening, Tyler was unable to find the same speed but still made the $12,000-to-win feature where he would record a 26th-place finish. Bruening missed Saturday's finale with a sixth-place finish in his B-Main.
