Tyler Bruening tackles Winter Nationals at All-Tech Raceway
Heading into the weekend with the points lead, Tyler Bruening rejoined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) with the Skyline Motorsports team primed for the Winter Nationals.
Picking up where he left off with the tour, Bruening clocked in second-fastest in his qualifying group and took home a heat race victory. Starting fourth in the $10,000-to-win opener, Tyler faded back to finish 12th after 40 laps.
On Friday night, Tyler finished runner-up in his heat race and started seventh in the A-Main but once again faded outside the Top-10 and finished 16th.
Hoping to turn his luck around in Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale, Bruening started the main event from the fourth-row but unfortunately spun on lap eight. He wound up 24th in the final running order.
